In this episode of the Life and Football Podcast our special guest is Keelon Brookins. This was a great interview. Coach Brookins gives great insight into his Life and Football Journey. He also shared some personal information about how his dad has helped his growth as a Coach. Defensive Backs Coach Keelon Brookins enters his third season at UNI as a defensive backs assistant coach in the fall of 2021. Brookins helped coach All-conference DB Omar Brown. Brown and Xavior Williams earned All-Conference honors during the 2019 season and helped UNI finish third in the FCS and first in the MVFC in interceptions. Brookins came to UNI from Central Missouri where he was a graduate assistant, but he is not unfamiliar with the Panthers. He spent the 2017 season as a graduate transfer when he recorded two interceptions and four sacks. He is a native of the Twin Cities.
