Chris also played in the NFL and for the University of Texas. Chris played his Highschool Football at at Victory Christian Academy, three-time all-county selection, tabbed second-team 2A All-State by the Associated Press in 2013, selected Small School Player of the Year and first-team All-County by The Ledger (Lakeland) ranked as the No. 39 defensive tackle in the nation by Scout No. 58 defensive tackle nationally and No. 116 player in Florida by 247 Sports No. 75 DT in the nation by ESPN No. 75 DT nationally by Rivals. At the University of Texas Chris was A five-year defensive lineman who played in 45 games with 29 career starts, totaled 109 tackles (70 solo) with 15.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks, added four quarterback hurries, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery, named Academic All-Big 12 First Team in 2017, named preseason All-Big 12 by Athlon Sports in 2017, named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 6, 2016), an all-state performer in high school, two-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (spring 2017, spring 2018), honorable mention All-Big 12 in 2018, played in the East-West Shrine Game following his senior season.
