Turned in a strong season, and his development midway through the season coincided with the defense’s improvement through the course of the year … Began the year still in recovery mode from a shoulder injury that forced him out of the entire 2017 season, and as he got healthier, he started to provide a bigger impact for the Tiger defense … Played in all 13 games, and started the last eight games of the year, and led the team with 12 pass break-ups, while registering 36 tackles (ranking seventh on the squad) … Also grabbed a pair of interceptions – one of which he returned 42 yards for a pick-six touchdown in Mizzou’s Homecoming win over Memphis (10/20) … Also tallied an interception on the first defensive series of the game against No. 2 Georgia (9/22) … Posted a career-high eight tackles in Mizzou’s huge road win at No. 13 Florida (11/3).
