D’Jordan Strong is one of the best Defensive Backs in the 2023 NFL Draft!

This is a player that everyone should be on the lookout for in the upcoming NFL Draft. 2023 NFL Draft Prospect Defensive Back D’Jordan Strong from Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Football. We love cornerbacks that play with swag and an attitude. D’Jordan Strong fits the mold for feisty and versatile cornerbacks. He’s experienced in man and zone coverages. He plays in a half-zone alignment with a cushion. He’s a reliable click-and-close defender from depth. He’s extremely tough—he played the 2020 season with a torn labrum and still picked off five passes and forced a fumble. He has good ball skills and is a threat to force turnovers when given the opportunity. He throws and lands a strong punch in bump-and-run technique to disrupt QB/WR timing. In zone, Strong displays good vision and patience to read the QB’s eyes before breaking on the football. He understands his landmarks and assignments in zone. He’s a big-time student of the game and has a high football IQ. In a 2021 interview with me, Strong discussed his study habits and preparation before a game, including how he had to alter his preparation to play the Zach Wilson-led BYU Cougars after a late-week schedule change.
