In this episode of the Life and Football Podcast our special guest was Ronnie Ghent. Ronnie Ghent is currently the Head Coach for Florida Community Christian. Coach Ghent was born in 1980 to Ronnie & Gloria. Once in High School Ghent excelled in football, basketball, & track. After a historic career in high school Ghent was inducted into the Lakeland Hall Of Fame. While at the University of Louisville Ghent made all-conference four time, made all-conference USA champion twice, made two liberty bowl appearances, made two GMAC appearances, as well as University of Louisville All Century team. As a pro coach Ghent played in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints. Ghent played in the UFL for the New York Sentinels, Hartford Colonials, & Virginia Destroyers, and in 2011 won the UFL champion. Ghent finished his career in the AFl playing for the Orlando Predators . Ghent has Successfully coached in High School, College, and In the Professionals. Ghent has been a Special teams coordinator where he masterfully created schemes and game plans each week. Ghent has also honed Offenses into dynamic power houses as an Offensive coordinator. As a Head coach Ghent is currently taking all his playing and coaching acumen to hone and create a championship team here at FCC.
