In this episode of the Life and Football Podcast our special guest was Duke Preston. Duke Preston is the Director of Player Development for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This was a great interview with a recent Super Bowl Champ and former NFL player. Duke Preston enters his sixth season as the director of player engagement, after joining the Buccaneers prior to the 2015 season. Duke is a former is a former center for the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Illinois. After football, he earned a master’s degree in Christian Education from the Dallas Theological Seminary. In 2013, he was hired as the Program Director for the University of Notre Dame’s Student Welfare and Development. His father, Ray Preston, was a standout football player at Syracuse University, and had a nine-year NFL career with the San Diego Chargers. He is a loving father and Husband. Duke gave us great insight into to the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl! He has one sister Casie currently teaching in Indianapolis.
