In this episode of the Life and Football Podcast our special guest is Tiffany Greene. Tiffany Greene is a ESPN Commentator, Wife, Mothe, and 4th generation FAMU Rattler.
Tiffany Greene is a pioneering play-by-play commentator for ESPN. Greene is the first African-American woman to serve as a play-by-play commentator for college football on a major network. Greene also covers a variety of collegiate sports including basketball, softball and volleyball. Greene originally began working with ESPN as a college football sideline reporter in 2012. She has since worked on the Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl on ABC and other bowl games. Greene also reported on the College Football All-Star Challenge. Prior to ESPN, Greene honed her skills as a play-by-play announcer and reporter at Bright House Sports Network in the Orlando and Tampa Bay markets. During that time, she was the play-by-play announcer for the inaugural season of Big East women’s basketball on Fox Sports 1.
Greene originally began working with ESPN as a college football sideline reporter in 2012. She has since called the DII Football National Championship, worked on the Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl on ABC and other bowl games. Greene also reported on the College Football All-Star Challenge.
Greene earned her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Florida A&M University (FAMU). She serves on the FAMU School of Journalism & Graphic Communication Board of Visitors. Greene is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Greene lives in Florida with her husband, Aaron, and their sons Bryson and Aaron.
